Terms of Service
Draft — under legal review. This page is not yet in effect and is hidden from search engines until counsel approval.
These terms govern your use of StockMeter. The disclaimer shown on every page is part of these terms and is repeated below.
StockMeter publishes general, impersonal research. It is not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and it does not consider your circumstances. StockMeter is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.
The service
StockMeter is a publisher of general, impersonal stock research: scores, grades, reports, alerts and related information about US-listed stocks. The service is read-only — StockMeter never places or routes orders and never moves money.
Not investment advice
Scores, grades and reports summarize published data and filings. They are not investment advice, and they do not consider your circumstances.
Accounts and personal data
An account saves your preferences, such as a watchlist. Personal data only ever filters the shared content you see — it never generates content: the scores, grades, reports and alerts published for a stock are the same for every reader.
No warranties
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Data may be delayed, incomplete or corrected later; every displayed value names its source and the date it refers to.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StockMeter’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to StockMeter, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars. StockMeter is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
Changes and governing law
These terms change only through a dated revision published on this page. They are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StockMeter is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; counsel confirms the governing-law clause before this draft is published.
